Special Session Board Minutes

April 1, 2026 

 

The Graettinger-Terril Community School Board of Directors met on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 for a Special Session board meeting. Members in attendance: Kevin Jensen, Matt Hanson, Joey Moen, Patrick Fairchild. Administration in attendance: Superintendent Marshall Lewis, SBO Sarah Stillman and Secretary Angie Woods. Absent: Shamus Currans  

 

All votes are unanimous unless otherwise noted.

 

President Jensen called the meeting to order at 4:04 p.m. in the MS/HS Library in Graettinger, Iowa.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

Approve the agenda: Moen moved to approve the agenda as presented.  Seconded by Fairchild.  Motion carried.

Guest:  All on-line: GTEA Union Rep. Todd Louwagie, GTEA President Heidi Borchers, Teacher Barb Jacobson and Director of Student Services Chad Francis.

Education Association: Fairchild moved to deny the grievance that was presented.  Seconded by Hanson.  Motion carried.

Adjournment: Moen moved to adjourn  the meeting at 4:49 p.m.  Seconded by Fairchild.  Motion carried.
