Board Minutes/Joint 2026.06.11

The Graettinger-Terril and Ruthven-Ayrshire Board of Education met in the MS/HS Library in Graettinger, Iowa. Those  in attendance included:The G-T Board of Directors: Kevin Jensen, Joey Moen, Mat Hanson and Shamus Currans. R-A Board of Directors: Jill Conlon, Rob Allen, Amy Loder, Jamie Dodd, and Emily Grange.  Administration: Superintendent Marshall Lewis, SBO Sarah Stillman and Board Secretary for both Districts Angie Woods. Absent: G-T Director Patrick Fairchild and R-A Directors Heather Ruehle and Stephanie Fay. Guest: Murray Stanley from TrustPoint via phone.

All motions were unanimous unless otherwise noted.

 

Call to Order:

The joint meeting of the Graettinger-Terril and Ruthven-Ayrshire Community School district Boards of Directors was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by President Jensen and President Conlon.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

 

Welcome/Patron Comments:

Members of the Graettinger-Terril and Ruthven-Ayrshire communities were present.  Comments were received from Amanda Mart, Rowaida Lair, Jon Josephson and Larry Conlon.

 

TrustPoint:

The boards reviewed the engagement letter from TrustPoint with Murray Stanley.

Graettinger-Terril: Moen moved to approve the engagement letter with TrustPoint.  Currans seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Ruthven-Ayrshire: Dodd moved to approve the engagement letter with TrustPoint.   Seconded by Loder.  Motion carried.

 

Adjournment:

The meeting adjourned at 6:19 p.m.

Graettinger-Terril: Hanson moved to adjourn the meeting.  Moen seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Ruthven-Ayrshire:  Grange moved to adjourn the meeting.  Dodd seconded the motion.  Motion carried.
